This shows in red where we propose to erect the new fence to protect the river bank from grazing stock and encourage the regrowth of bank side cover.  The fence will also enable us to conserve the eroding high bank by Nanny Carr pool and prevent further silt from washing down into the spawning gravels upstream from Dale Mire.
