It's a fairly nondescript sort of morning with quite a lot of cloud, no wind and no rain.  In fact it hasn't rained hard now for a couple of days so the river is just about perfect for trouting, but a little low for good salmon fishing.

There are likely to be a good few members in evidence today judging by the number of guest ticket applications I have received over the past few days.  With 12 miles of river to go at no one is likely to be crowded , but it's very good to see so much interest from members.
