Re the Flying Fish on the Windscreen. Derek Soames of Settle Anglers told me last year of a 10 inch brownie found on the roof of a garden shed in Settle about a half mile from the river. Either an angler had made an overhard strike and wazzed the fish across town or (more likely) a heron dropped the fish while en route to its nest.
